STRONG LOBBY ON CITY COUNCIL NOT TO FUND SALTHILL AIRSHOW

The Galway Alliance Against War is to make an official presentation to the City Council on Monday fortnight [dec 10] outlining why they feel the council shouldn’t fund the Salthill Air Show

The Alliance feels the local authority shouldn’t fund the Airshow as long as warplanes and helicopter gunships are part of the event

Niall Farrell of the GAAW is looking forward to the opportunity of putting their views and safety concerns across to councillors
