Locals say the amenity resembles something out of a children’s colouring book while former Mayor Terry O’Flaherty says it looks dreadful

The City Council hasn’t commented on the purpose of the new surface, or whether it’s permanent

Cllr O’Flaherty says the prom is the jewel in the crown of Galway’s amenities and she’s calling on city officials to correct this monstrosity immediately
