STRICT BAIL CONDITIONS FOR MAN ACCUSED OF CITY SEX ASSAULT

A 34 year old taxi driver, who’s charged with sexually assaulting a woman in the city last week, has been remanded on bail with strict conditions attached following his appearance before Galway District Court.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons at this stage, is charged with sexually assaulting the woman at Inchagoill Road, Newcastle, in the early hours of last Wednesday, February 24.
