Steady voter turnout maintained throughout city and county

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A steady voter turnout is reported at polling stations across the city and county this evening.
In Galway City East district, the average turnout is now at 32% in Ballybane Community Centre station.
In Galway City Central district, turnout is around 21% at the polling station in Westside Community Centre.
This is largely mirrored in polling stations in Galway City East.
To the county and in Tuam, voter turnout now stands at 30%.
To Ballinasloe and Loughrea now and 30 percent of voters have turned up at many stations.
In Connemara, voters in Clifden continue to lead the way in turnout.
The turnout now stands at over 30%.
