STATE PATHOLOGIST TO CARRY OUT POST MORTEM ON CITY RESIDENT

The state pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy will carry out a post mortem examination of a man who was found with head injuries in the city on Monday night.
The 41 year old man died of his injuries at University Hospital Galway yesterday afternoon.
Gardai are hoping to rule out foul play following the post mortem examination.
The man originally came from the Clifden area and had been living for some years at the Fairgreen Hostel in the city.
