State Pathologist carrying out post mortem on city man
Galway Bay fm newsroom – The State Pathologist is this afternoon carrying out a post-mortem examination on the man who died following an incident in Bohermore.
The man, a 60-year-old city native, suffered a suspected cardiac arrest following an alleged assault in Crowe’s Bar on Bohermore between 2 and 3 this morning.
He was taken to University Hospital Galway where he died at 8 this morning.
A 52 year old man, also from the city, presented himself at Mill Street Garda station this morning and is being detained for questioning.
The result of the post mortem examination will determine the course of the Garda investigation into the city man’s death.
