STARVING CHINESE MAN TO BE DEPORTED FROM GALWAY

An emaciated 31 year-old Chinese man who a Galway District Court Judge described as “over worked, underpaid and malnourished”, is to be deported back to China.

Ning Qi, of no fixed abode, was made work by other Chinese people for well below the minimum wage at the Runner Internet Cafe, Eyre Square and had not been paid since Christmas.

He was also sleeping in the Cafe at night and had barely enough food to eat.
