STAFF AT CITY SHOE STORE SET FOR CASH WINDFALL IN GLOBAL SALE

Staff at footwear store, Schuh, in the city are set for a cash windfall with news that the company has been bought by an American retailer.

More than 2-thousand employees across Britain and Ireland will share in a 37-point-3 million pound payout.

Schuh has 59 stores and 16 concessions in the UK and Ireland.

There are 30 staff working at Schuh at Shop Street in the city.
