St. Michael’s Ladies goal rush

PRIDE of place this week in St. Michael’s GAA Club must go to the Ladies Junior panel which won the County A League title on Sunday last when they defeated Monivea/Abbeyknockmoy on a score line of 5-5 to 0-8.

This panel of dedicated girls has nowsuccessfully completed the transition from Junior C level in 2005 to Intermediate status in three seasons.

A quick glance back over the season would indicate that these two teams, who topped the division and who earlier in the season had won once and lost once in their League engagements with each other, would be difficult to separate in the final.
