St. Kerrill’s Festival postponed as mark of respect

St. Kerrill’s Festival which was due to take place this weekend and next in Gurteen, has been postponed until further notice as a mark of respect to the Finnerty family of Cloonkeenkerrill on the death of David Finnerty.

The community’s heartfelt sympathies are passed  to Martin, Pauline, Sarah and Brendan, to David’s girlfriend Corina, the extended Finnerty family and to David’s large circle of friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.

Funeral Notice for David Finnerty
David Finnerty, Cloonkeenkerrill, Colemanstown, Co. Galway (as a result of a road traffic accident). Sadly missed by his loving parents Pauline and Martin, his beloved Corina, his devoted sister and brother Sarah and Brendan, his aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Friday, June 5th, from 5pm until 8pm. Private removal on Saturday June 6th to St. Michael’s Church, Gurteen for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Cloonkeenkerrill Cemetery.
