ST BRIGIDS HOSPITAL DISPUTE DUE IN LABOUR COURT

A dispute between nurses at St. Brigid’s hospital in Ballinasloe and HSE management is to be referred to the Labour court.

Earlier this month some nurses at the acute admissions therapy unit were suspended without pay for continuing to work in a unit that was closed down by management.

Other issues relating to staffing at the hospital are due to be discussed.
