SOUTH GALWAY TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST RURAL CRIME

The community of South Galway is to hold a meeting this evening (Feb 6) in its bid to take action against rural crime.

The IFA meeting aims to provide information to rural dwellers on the preventative measures that can be taken to avoid being targetted by criminals.

Gardai and Muintir na Tire will address the gathering on the importanace of developing an active community alert group.

The meeting takes place in the Lady Gregory Hotel in Gort and gets underway at 8.30 this evening.
