SMALL CRANE FACELIFT PLAN REJECTED ONCE AGAIN

The controversial Small Crane regeneration scheme in the city has been rejected once more.

A Planning Policy Committee voted unanimously to reject the scheme and incorporate proposals made by residents to have repairs done instead.

Mayor Conneely’s proposal to reject the scheme must now go before a full meeting of the city council.

Speaking afterwards, The West Residents Association member Catherine La Farge was pleased.
