ŠKODA targets Superb sales
By Gerry Murphy
At times it is difficult to talk about the ŠKODA Superb without referring to its badge name.
Since its introduction in its current guise, the ŠKODA Superb has shot to second place on the sales leader board for large saloon/hatchback vehicles. Last year alone, 1,745 Superb vehicles were delivered, overtaking some bigger and more traditional household brand names.
Now it is time for ŠKODA to up the ante with additional features to ensure that that trend continues in 2018. They are adding some exciting safety, technological and specification upgrades and these are now available across the range.
For some time, fleet and business customers have loved the Superb for its space and comfort. Now with motorway driving featuring more and more as an occupation, radar operated Lane Assist and Blind Spot Detection will provide increased safety and security for drivers and other road users.
Connected Services such as E-Call and Care Connect debuted in the ŠKODA KODIAQ in March 2017 and are now provided as standard across the Superb Range. The Superb features a built in SIM card, enabling calls to the: ŠKODA Customers Service Team, ŠKODA Recovery Services and also the Emergency Services in the event of an accident. The ŠKODA Connect mobile App give owners’ access to see where their Superb is located and the exact vehicle status at any time.
