SIX PERCENT ANNUAL DECLINE IN GALWAY’S UNEMPLOYMENT FIGURES

There’s been a 6 percent decrease in the number of people unemployed across the city and county.

Figures compiled by the Central Statistics office show that over 22 thousand 900 people are now unemployed in Galway, a drop of over 14 hundred on the same period last year.
