Sinéad O’Connor and John Grant for Big Top gig

Sinéad O’Connor with special guest John Grant will perform a double-bill at the Big Top on Thursday, July 23, at this year’s Galway International Arts Festival.

In her 30-year musical career Sinéad O’Connor has won millions of fans worldwide, with unique interpretations of songs such as Mandinka and the multi-platinum version of Prince’s Nothing Compares 2 U. Her 2015 Meteor Choice Music Award nominated album, I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss, has been a high point in her career, following on from 2012’s How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?.

O’Connor will be joined by former Czars frontman John Grant, whose second solo album Pale Green Ghosts was released over a year ago to rave reviews internationally.
