SILENT VIGIL IN EYRE SQUARE FOR DEATH ROW INMATE

A silent vigil will be held in the city this afternoon [22/6] as part of a Global day of action against the Death penalty.

Amnesty International in Galway is organising the vigil in solidarity with death row inmate Troy Davis.

The meeting point for the vigil is Eyre Square, at 2p.m, with the vigil getting underway at 2.30p.m
