Fánán development on the western side of Galway City

Homes are continuing to be “snapped up” by buyers in the new Fánán development on the western side of Galway City

Burkeway Homes have already reported in excess of 30 sales off the plans in the new estate on the Letteragh Road.

Phase 1 quickly sold out when the first houses were released at the end of July.

“Homes continued being snapped up in the intervening period and now the final phase of houses is being made available,” Managing Director Michael Burke said.

“We are delighted with the response Fánán has received since we brought the homes to the market at the end of July. We are very proud of this development and know the purchasers will be delighted with their new homes.”

In total, there will be 101 units provided to the undersupplied Galway market when the scheme is fully complete, comprising of 46 three and four-bedroom houses and 55 one, two and three-bedroom high-end apartments.

Construction is well advanced on the housing element of the scheme that incorporates the initial phases of development.

Fánán is 2.5km from the city centre and close to NUI Galway, University Hospital Galway and amenities such as Salthill Promenade and Galway Golf Club.

Developed on an elevated site facing south and east looking towards the city and Salthill, the Gaelic name Fánán broadly means ‘sloping hillside’. The name captures the features and essence of this location.
