Several people injured in Clifden collision

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A number of people have been taken to hospital following a serious crash near Clifden this morning.
The collision between two vehicles happened on the N59, the Westport side of Clifden around 10.30 this morning.
At least 3 people were taken to University Hospital Galway, some seriously injured.
Gardaí have closed part of the N59 in Clifden to facilitate an investigation.
Motorists travelling from Clifden towards Letterfrack will be diverted via Claddaghduff and Cleggan and vice versa.
