SEVERAL PEOPLE INJURED AFTER CEILING IN CITY PUB COLLAPSES

An investigation is underway into the cause of a ceiling collapse at a city pub over the weekend during a boisterous party.

At least 4 people were brought to hospital from the Living Room pub on Bridge Street at about 1.30am yesterday.

Part of the ceiling fell during a birthday celebration at the venue.

Gardaí and the fire brigade were called to the scene and at least 4 people were brought to hospital, but they were not seriously injured.
