SEVERAL MEN TAKEN TO MILLSTREET FOR DRUGS SEARCHES

Up to six men have been taken to Millstreet Garda station for questioning after they were stopped in their vehicles by Gardaí in Oranmore.

The men were stopped close to the Esso garage in Oranmore after 11 o’ clock.

A Garda spokesperson says the men "have been taken to Milstreet for the purpose of a drugs search".

Gardaí also say it’s too early to say if any charges will be brought against the men.
