SERIES OF PUBLIC MEETINGS ON WATER IN GALWAY

A series of public meetings will take place around Galway over the coming weeks to discuss issues affecting water quality in the region

Many issues have been highlighted in a booklet entitled, “Water Matters” which was launched earlier this year

The booklet, which the public were invited to contribute to, identifies pressures on water quality in the locality

However, several meetings will be held over the coming weeks to ask people whether all their concerns have been addressed in the booklet

The first public meeting takes place next Tuesday [13/11] at the Raddisson SAS hotel in the city

There will also be a meeting at the Station House Hotel in Clifden next Thursday, November 15th and another meeting at the Corralea Court Hotel, Tuam on Tuesday November 27th

All meetings begin at 7pm
