An Australian man has pleaded guilty to throwing a traffic cone off a bridge in Edinburgh which seriously injured Salthill native, Kate Flannery who was in a street below

30 year old, Andrew Smith, admitted culpable and reckless conduct at Edinburgh High Court

Kate Flannery was seriously injured on November 19th, last year when Andrew Smith threw a traffic cone from a bridge in Edinburgh and it hit Ms. Flannery who was walking below

Mr Smith is due to be sentenced later this month
