SENTENCE INCREASED FOR CITY MAN CONVICTED OF TAKING LEWD PICTURES

A man who used his mobile phone to take lewd pictures up girl’s skirts, has had prison sentences imposed in the District Court doubled on appeal to Galway Circuit Criminal Court.

Brendan Beatty, of 30 Lenaboy Gardens, Salthill, had received sentences totalling seven months at Galway District Court in September.
