SENIOR GALWAY CATHOLIC PRIEST SAYS TIME HAS COME FOR MARRIED PRIESTS

There has been a suggestion from a senior Catholic Church administrator in the West that the time has come to have married priests.

Fr Martin Whelan, the Galway Diocesan Secretary made his comments after it had come to light that there are no new vocations in the Diocese of Galway or the Archdiocese of Tuam this year.
