Senator Higgins calls for campervan park in Kinvara

Galway East Senator Lorraine Higgins has called for a campervan park on the outskirts of Kinvara to ease the problem of illegal parking in the area.

Local councillors have been urged by the senator to incorporate the proposal into the town’s development plan.

Currently, campervans are prohibited from parking at Kinvara Pier between 9pm and 8am, and Senator Higgins believes that a new park would benefit tourism in the area.
