Selection of homes set to go under the hammer

The next O’Donnellan & Joyce Auctioneers ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ auction will take place on Friday, November 9, and contains a selection of homes along the Western Seaboard suited to first-time buyers, those trading up, and investors.

Auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan said: “There is plenty of variety in this auction to suit investors and first-time buyers, with all the counties on the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ having something for sale, particularly in Galway City where there are a number of properties in prime locations.”

Among the properties going under the hammer are:

7 Cluain Riocaird, Headford Road, Galway. A three-bed ground floor apartment located off the Headford Road which is being sold with tenants in place. The AMV is €125,000.

77 Slí Gheal, Knocknacarra, Galway. A four-bed mid-terrace house in need of renovation and upgrading throughout. Ideal as a starter home or investment. The AMV is €160,000.

Castle Street, Dunmore. The former Joshua Tree bar in the heart of the town, which includes ground floor bar and storage/meeting rooms on the first floor and has the potential to be changed to a commercial/residential property.

Also going under the hammer are 3.5 acres of land in Corogin just off the M17 with an AMV of €25,000.
