Second oral hearing on Connemara road upgrade focuses on land issues in Glengowla area

Galway Bay fm newsroom – An internationally recognised expert on the pearl mussel says the species will not be endangered in the Owneriff river as an investigation plan was fully implemented as part of the N59 road development project

He made the assertion at today’s oral hearing in the Westwood Hotel, which is the second one to be held by An Bord Pleanala in 6 months on this project

This latest hearing is concentrating on land acquisition issues in the Glengowla area, west of Oughterard
