Second medical emergency in 16 hours for Aran Islands lifeboat
Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Aran Islands lifeboat is en route to transfer a person in need of medical assistance onto the mainland.
The patient will be brought from Inis Meain to Rossaveal and tranferred to University Hospital Galway by ambulance.
This is the second dispatch of the RNLI Lifeboat from the Aran Islands in the last 16 hours.
Last night, the Aran Lifeboat crew brought another patient from Inis Mór to Rossaveal in about 35 minutes for transfer to UHG.
