SEARCH RESUMES FOR ARAN ISLANDER

A land and sea search operation has resumed for a man missing off the Aran Islands for over a week.

34 year old Brendan Gill, from Kilronan on Inis Mor, was last seen near the Black Fort on Inis Mor last Saturday, the 26th of February.

A photography enthusiast, it’s feared he may have slipped into the sea while taking pictures in the Black Shore area.

Up top fifty people are today involved in the search for the missing man, including Gardaí, the coastguard, and locals.
