Search of Castleblakeney man continues in Galway

Galway Bay Fm newsroom – The search is continuing in Galway city today for a young Castleblakeney, Ballinasloe man who failed to return yesterday (Friday) after being out with friends in Galway the previous night.
The Air-Sea rescue helicopter from Shannon joined in the search this morning (Saturday) in Galway along with up to 100 volunteers and the Gardai.
The search started near Galway Courthouse at 9 am as that is the area that the young man is said toe have last been seen in the early hors of yesterday morning.
The young man who is missing has been named locally as Sean Igoe from Lehanagh, Castleblakeney, Ballinasloe and areas of the city and along the coast are being searched today following his disappearance.
Gardai are appealing for any one with any information to contact Mill Street, Garda Station, Galway 091-538000.
