SEARCH FOR MISSING CITY MAN TO RESUME TOMORROW

A search for a missing Galway man is to resume tomorrow morning after he was last seen entering the water in the city overnight.

Emergency services were alerted by a passerby who witnessed the incident at O’Brien’s bridge.

The Shannon based rescue helicopter will rejoin the search at low tide at around 10.30 tomorrow morning.

The Coast Guard rescue boats have now retired from their search and will resume at daylight.
