SEARCH CONTINUES FOR SUSPECT IN NEWCASTLE ATTACK

Gardai are still searching for the man suspected of the serious assault of a young woman in the Newcastle area of the city early last Thursday

The young woman was walking near the junction of Thomas Hynes Road and Cherry Park between 1 and 2 on St Patrick’s Day when she was attacked

She was treated at University Hospital Galway for her injuries and was in hospital for two days
