Sean Keane to headline church show

Caherlistrane singer Seán Keane, Connemara sean-nós dancing champion Seán Seoige and Tuam based singer Ann Kirrane are among the performers who will take part in a concert in Tulla, Co Clare, on Thursday next, December 27.

The show, which will feature fiddle player Martin Hayes as special guest, is a fundraiser for the town’s Comhaltas Centre, Cnoc na Gaoithe, which when is currently being developed to provide an education, exhibition and performance space for musicians as well as holding weekly lessons and regular workshops. Last year’s inaugural event, which also featured Seán, Ann and Martin, was a huge success and the organisers are hoping for a similar atmosphere this time out.
