Scene of major Carraghbrowne fire preserved

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Gardai have preserved the scene of last night’s fire at Carraghbrowne on the Curragh Line Headford Road

Five units of the fire brigade attended the fire at a breaker’s yard shortly after 9 last night

The units were dispatched from the Galway and Tuam fire stations

It’s understood the fire was mainly confined to cars in the yard and the building was not damaged

No one was injured in the blaze and Gardai at Mill Street in the city are investigating its cause
