SAW DOCTORS SCOOP LIFETIME ACHEIVEMENT AWARD

Internationally renowned Galway band, The Sawdoctors, are to recieve a coveted music award.

The Tuam based band will recieve the ‘lifetime achievement award’ at the Meteor music awards on the 15th of February.

The band is together more than 20 years since releasing their first record in1988.

The group is headed by tuam natives Leo Moran and Davy Carton.

They’ve had a number of big hits throughout their career including the world renowned song about the main Galway-Tuam road ‘ N-17’.
