Savita’s husband to be absent from todays inquest proceedings

Day seven of the inquest into the death of Savita Halappanavar opens at County Hall today

Yesterday’s proceedings largely focused on expert witness Dr. Peter Boylan, a former Master at the National Maternity Hospital.

Today, Professor Grace Callegy who carried out the post-mortem on Ms.Halappanavar will give her witness statement.

Speaking on the way into county hall, Praveen’s solicitor Gerard O Donnell said Mr. Halappanavara won’t be attending proceedings today.
