SALTHILL SCHOOL NAMED AS TOP CONNAUGHT SCHOOL

A secondary school in Salthill has been named as the top school in Connaught for progression to University.

The Sunday Times 2011 Parent power survey lists ‘Jesus and Mary secondary school’ in Salthill as 13th out of 400 schools on the league table.

The state-run girls’ school had 80% of its pupils progressing to university between 2008 and 2010.
