SALTHILL ROAD CLOSED AFTER SERIOUS CRASH

Part of the promenade in Salthill is closed this morning due to a serious car crash there in the early hours of today [22/2].

The single vehicle crash occurred behind the Alantaquarium at around 3am.

A woman was brought to University Hospital Galway with serious injuries.

The road from Seapoint to the turn off for Kellehers garage behind the Atlantaquarium is closed this morning as Gardai have to carry out a technical examination of the scene.
