SALTHILL MURDER ACCUSED SENT FORWARD FOR TRIAL

Maura Thornton has been sent forward for trial for the murder of Kevin Joyce in Salthill during race week.

The book of evidence was served today by Det Sgt Tom Molloy at Galway district court.

The 30 year old of 183 Upper Salthill is accused of murdering 59 year old Kevin Joyce in an apartment in Salthill on July 31st

She was returned in custody with consent to bail as set by the High court.
