Salthill Hotel goes into receivership

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Salthill Hotel at the Promenade has gone into receivership.
Mazars have been appointed receivers to the four-star hotel, which is a popular wedding and concert venue.
The Salthill hotel was part of the Byrne Hotel Group which also included the Eyre Square and Victoria Hotels in the city centre.
The Receivers have stated that the hotel will continue to trade as normal and staff and customers will not be affected.
Customer deposits for both the hotel and leisure centre will be honoured.
The receivers say they, along with hotel management, are available to discuss any queries customers or guests may have.
