Plans to knock a three storey building in Salthill and replace it with 6 new apartments have been shelved by An Bord Pleanála.

Eugene and Michael MacDonagh have been refused permission for the plans at 12 Lower Salthill.

The house was to be knocked to make way for a new 3 storey development with 6 apartments and 6 off street car parking spaces.

But, Nanette Higgins of 10 Lower Salthill appealed the decision to An Bord Pleanála which now says the plans can’t go ahead.
