Sales success beckons for early risers
The early bird catches the worm, they say – and that’s a phrase that Galway’s Sales Master Minders hold true for their meetings and workshops. Because the secret to sales success is that they meet at 7.15am every last Friday of the month!
“Successful sales people think nothing of the early start,” says Darragh O’Connor of the Clayton Hotel and one of the club’s founders. “It means that we are heading back to our day jobs of selling before 9am.”
Sales Master Minders has just announced its 2015 programme – the business club’s second full year.
The programme includes sessions with Pat McCann, CEO of Dalata, the largest hotel operator in Ireland and David McKernan of Java Republic.
There will be workshops on increasing sales with video, putting productivity into sales and using great PR to increase sales – all given by national and international experts in their fields.
Sales Master Minders is Ireland’s only business club exclusively focussed on helping organisations and individuals increase sales.
‘Everyone with an interest in sales – from large organisations to a one-man-band – will get great value from Sales Master Minders’, says another of its founders Oisín Browne of The City Bin Company.
‘We’ve had a tremendous response to our first year and have featured some great speakers including Seán Gallagher of Dragons’ Den, international CEO expert Roger Harrop and sales development guru Seán Weafer.
This year’s programme kicks off with a sales expert Dermot McConkey this Friday at 7.15am in the Clayton Hotel.
Dermot has worked in the sales business for over 40 years and is co-author of the 2012 book ‘The Selling Conversation’.
