SALE AGREED FOR OPERATOR OF EAST GALWAY LANDFILL

Waste management company, Greenstar, which operates the landfill at Kilconnell, is to be sold.

The company – which serves 85 thousand domestic and commercial customers across Ireland- was placed in receivership in August of last year.

David Carson of Deloitte – acting as Receiver – has announced that he has agreed to the sale of the Greenstar business to an affiliate of Cerberus European Investments, LLC.
