Concerns are being raised over the condition of the N67 between Ballinderreen and Kinvara ahead of the tourist season.

East Galway Deputy Paul Connaughton says he has received a number of complaints about the stretch of road just outside Kinvara, locally known as Foy’s Hill.

It’s claimed traffic is often forced to come to a standstill when tour buses carrying visitors to the nearby Burren meet on the narrow route.

Deputy Connaughton says he’s looking for upgrade works to be carried out
