Rosmuc native may be called for evidence in trial of Boston mob leader
Galway Bay fm newsroom – There is speculation as to whether Ros Muc native Patrick Nee, who co-wrote a book about his own criminal past, will be called to give evidence at the trial of the Boston mob leader, James ‘Whitey’ Bulger.
The prosecution case finished on Friday and the defence will begin the presentation of its case today.
Patrick Nee was associated with Bulger in the past and the defence has requested him as a witness.
It is the highest profile criminal case in the United States. James Whitey Bulger from South Boston is on trial for 19 murders.
He was one of Americas most wanted criminals for many years.
