ROMANIAN JAILED FOR YEAR OVER CITY BURGLARY

A Romanian man, who’s currently in custody in connection with the theft of items from graves at Lackagh cemetery, has been jailed for a year for burglary at a house in the city last April.

35 year old Marian Lingurar, with a former rental address at Loughgeorge, Claregalway, pleaded guilty at the last moment at Galway District Court to entering a house at Raleigh Row in the city on April 22nd to commit theft.
