Gardaí are appealling for witnesses to a robbery at a city bookmakers last night [1/8]

A man walked into Ladbrokes betting office at Prospect Hill at around 9.20pm and demanded cash from staff

The man is described as about 40 years old, 6 feet in height, of medium build with receding grey hair, tightly cut

He was wearing a distinctive pink shirt with white and blue stripes and spoke with a West of Ireland accent

The culprit got away with a some of money and Gardaí are appealling for witnesses to aid them in their investigation
