Roadstone to attend Labour Court talks

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Roadstone has accepted an invitation to attend talks at the Labour Court following the breakdown of talks at the Labour Relations Commission.
Galway employees have been picketing at Two Mile Ditch in the city daily in a bid to reverse cuts to bonus payments.
SIPTU has described the bonuses as an ‘integral part of the payment structure.’
Employees say that a six million euro saving target was met in 2012, which involved cuts of up to 16 percent.
SIPTU spokesperson Davy Lane spoke to FYI Galway in the last few minutes, saying workers have had enough.
