ROAD IN BUSHYPARK CLOSED AFTER HIT AND RUN

The Ballagh Road in Bushypark remains closed off this morning[25/7], following a hit and run incident last night.

A man was injured when a vehicle hit him shortly after 9p.m.

He was taken to University Hospital Galway, although his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Gardaí closed off the road for a technical examination and it remains closed this morning.

However it’s expected to open shortly.
